TOZ PÜSKÜRTME YÖNTEMİ İLE ÜRETİLMİŞ PB-SN-CU-ZRO ALAŞIMLI KRANK MİLİ ANA YATAĞININ AŞINMA DAVRANIŞLARI

Abstract

ÖZET Bu çalışmada; içten yanmalı motorlarda kullanılan geleneksel krank mili ana yatak malzemelerine alternatif olabilecek bir krank mili ana yatak malzemesi geliştirilmiş ve yatağın aşınma davranışı deneysel olarak incelenmiştir. Yüksek devirli motorlarda ana yataklar çok farklı etki ve zorlanmaların tesiri altında çalışmaktadır. Bu zorlu şartlarda çalışabilecek, Pb-Sn-Cu-ZrO içeren yatak malzemesi çelik yatak şeli çalışma yüzeyine toz püskürtme yöntemi kullanılarak kaplanmıştır. Yatağın aşınma davranışları; gerçek motor şartlarını simüle eden deney düzeneğinde incelenmiştir. Üretilen yatak numunesi opel marka benzinli motorun orijinal yatakları ile birlikte motora takılarak deney motoru 500 saat süreyle çalıştırılmıştır. Bu süreçte krank mili devir sayısı, yataklara gelen yükler, yağ sıcaklığı ve yağ basıncı gerçek şartlara uyumlu sabit tutulmuştur. Deney sonucunda yataklar sökülerek tartı yöntemi ile ağırlık kayıpları tespit edilmiştir. Her iki yatağın çalışma yüzeylerinin SEM fotoğrafları çekilip aşınma yorumlanmıştır. EDS analizi ve mikro sertlik analizi yapılmıştı. Elde edilen bulgular ışığında üretimi yapılan numunenin orijinal yatağa göre karşılaşılan zorlanmalara karşı daha dirençli olduğu kararına varılmıştır.

Abstract

In this study, a new alternative crank shaft bearing material is developed for internal combustion engine and its wear behaviours was investigated experimentally. In high speed engines, the main bearings are generally work under different effects and severe conditions. It will probably run in these conditions, Pb-Sn-Cu-ZrO alloy has covered the working surface of steel bearing by using powder spray method. The wear properties of the bearing were determined under real engine conditions. The samples were fixed to engine with the original opel engine bearings and the engine was run during 500 hours. The crank shaft spindle speed, the bearing loads, oil temperature and oil pressure were constanted to explore their effects on wear resistant. At the end of the experiments, the bearings were pulled up and theirs weighness differences were measured. The SEM photos were taken for both working surfaces of bearings. EDS and microhardness analysis were conducted to the study. According to the experimental results, it is obseved that the new type of bearing material has showed higher wear resistant.
