Eskişehir Osmangazi University Journal of Social Sciences is a refereed international journal and published twice a year in June and in December since 2001. Manuscripts passed initial review are sent to at least two referees (double blind peer review).
Aim of Eskişehir Osmangazi University Journal of Social Sciences is to contribute in improving social sciences by publishing highly scientific research studies in various areas of social sciences. This journal adopts open access policy (BOAI). When an issue is published it will freely opened to public.
The journal started its publication life by publishing a special issue in year 2000. It has been regularly published two-issue each year since 2001. In memory of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s 125th birthday anniversary the journal has published a special issue in 2006.
It has earned a status of a nationally refereed journal indexed in TÜBİTAK-ULAKBİM Social Science Database. Additionally, it is indexed in EBSCO, International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS) and Akademia Social Sciences Index (ASOS Index).
All submissions of articles to the journal are subject to “double-blind” refereeing process from submission to publication. The journal accepts manuscripts written in Turkish. However, manuscripts written in English, French, German, and Arabic are also welcome.
The scope of the journal, in general, includes all areas of social sciences. Specifically, original papers in the fields of economics, business, public finance, international relations, history, Turkish language and literature, comparative literature are welcome.
