                            <p>This study was conducted on different ethnic groups in 11 neighborhoods of Mardin&#039;s Midyat, Nusaybin, Ömerli and Yeşilli districts between 2021 and 2022. The aim of the study is to investigate the gastronomic use of wild food plants among the people. In this context, some Syriac, Kurdish and Arab villages were selected as pilot study areas and interviews were conducted with 66 informants of different ages and education levels. The usage patterns of 50 different plants as food plants in the folk tradition were determined.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Bu çalışma 2021 ve 2022 yılları arasında  Mardin’in Midyat, Nusaybin,  Ömerli ve Yeşilli ilçelerine bağlı 11 mahallede farklı etnik gruplar üzerinde yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı yörede değişen yabani gıda bitkilerinin halk arasındaki gastronomik kullanım biçimlerini araştırmaktır. Bu kapsamda Süryani, Kürt ve Arap köylerinden bazıları pilot çalışma alanı olarak seçilmiş ve farklı yaş ve eğitim düzeyine sahip 66 kaynak kişi ile görüşmeler yapılmıştır. 50 farklı bitkinin halk geleneğindeki gıda bitkisi olarak kullanım şekilleri belirlenmiştir.</p></abstract>
