“Insha”, it is the art ofbeautiful and artistic writing that deals with generally formalcorrespondences. The time in which “insha” art is started is within the period of the prophetMuhammad (pbuh). This art began with the manner and style that the Prophet Muhammed(pbuh) used in his letters to the other states and tribal chiefs, these textsin time underpinned the art of “insha”. In this respect, the caliphsof Islam also walked in the footsteps of the Prophet (pbuh.). Depending on theexpansion of Islamic geography, these political correspondents have multipliedand diversified. In the both of periods, this kind of correspondence is basedon “i'caz”and easy to understand. Over time, however, longer, elaborateexpressions and phrases containing clauses were begun to be used. In this work,after briefly mentioning about the art of insha and kitabah, which had anexceptional place in Arabic literature and had a golden age in the Umayyad andAbbasi Periods as well as the characteristics of the clerks, we tried toanalyze the wording features in the letters of the prophet (pbuh.).
Daha çok resmi yazışmaları konu edinen inşa, güzel ve sanatkâraneyazı yazma sanatıdır. İnşâ sanatının temellerinin atıldığı ilk dönem Resûlullah(s.a.v.) devridir. Bu sanat Resûlullah (s.a.v) döneminde O’nun diğer devlet vekabile reislerine yazdığı mektuplarda kullandığı usul ve üslup ile başlamış,zamanla bunlar inşânın temellerini oluşturmuştur. Hulefâ-yı Râşidîn de bu hususta Resûlullah (s.a.v.)’in izindenyürümüşlerdi. İslam coğrafyasının genişlemesi sebebiyle bu siyasi yazışmalarhem çoğalmış hem de çeşitlilik kazanmıştır. Her iki devirde de bu neviyazışmalar i’caza ve kolay anlaşılır olmaya dayalı iken, zamanla bu sahadakiinşanın, daha uzun ve ağdalı ifadeler ve tazim ihtiva eden cümlelerlegenişlemeye başladığı görülecektir.Biz bu çalışmamızda Arap edebiyatında müstesna bir yere sahip olan,Emevi ve Abbasi Döneminde altın çağını yaşayan kitabet ve inşa sanatına,kâtibin özelliklerine kısaca değindikten sonra Resûlullah (s.a.v.)’inmektuplarındaki üslup hususiyetlerini tahlil etmeye çalıştık.
