<p>In this study, prosocial behaviors including helping, altruistic behaviors, giving, forgiveness, thinking and prioritizing someone else, and the relationship between empathic tendency and religiosity were discussed. Correlation, regression and mediation analysis between prosociality, empathic tendency and religiosity were investigated in the study in accordance with this purpose. In this quantitative study, the Prosociality Scale developed by Ayten and Korkmaz, the Empathic Tendency Scale developed by Dökmen and the Individual Religiosity Scale developed by Zagumny et al. were used. Relational survey and documentation methods were used in the research. The sample of the study consists of 267 volunteers. 83 (31.1%) of the respondents are male, 184 (68.9%) are women. Age range varies between 17 and 60, the average age in the study is 25.61. According to the findings of the study, positive significant relationships were found between individual religiosity with prosociality, empathic tendency and religious practices. There were positive and significant relationships between prosociality with religious practices and empathic tendency. Individual religiousness predicted both prosociality and empathic tendency, while religious practices only predicted prosociality. Individual religiosity partially mediated the relationship between empathic tendency and prosociality.</p></trans-abstract>
