The Problem Of Quranic References In Nasimi’s Poems

Abstract

Nasimi is a very big poet, who has great knowledge of Quran. This capability of him is always beyond dispute. In his poems he used 703 Quranic figures in all. On the other hand, he is a very important Hurufid leader, ideolog and heroic propagandist to such degree that he could sacrifice his life for this movement. But his Hurufid aspect put his very important Quranic background into the shades. Eventually, he misused The Quran in order to strenghten his Hurufid way. In this manner, an example of Batıni-Exegesis of the Quran appeared. Nasimi’s references to Quranic figures in the poems of his Diwan couldn’t be justified in point of the linguistic area, contextual method, historical background and methodological exegesis of Quran.

Nesîmî’nin Şiirlerinde Kur’an’a Referans Sorunu

Abstract

Nesimi, Kur’an-ı Kerim’e vukufiyeti tartışmasız büyük bir şairdir. Şiirlerinde toplam 703 tane Kur’an motifini istihdam etmiştir. Ancak şairin önemli bir Hu-rufi lider, ideolog ve ideolojisi uğruna hayatını feda edecek kadar inanmış cesur bir propagandist olması, sahibi olduğu Kur’an vukufiyetini gölgelemiş ve Kur’an’ı Hurufiliği desteklemek üzere manipüle etmesine yol açmıştır. Bu tavrıyla Nesimi, tefsir edebiyatı açısından Batıni bir tefsir örneği ortaya koymuştur. Onun şiirlerinde Kur’an’a yaptığı atıfları; gerek lügavi, gerek siyak, gerek tarih ve gerekse tefsir usulü tekniği açısından sağlıklı bulunmamaktadır.
