Yenidoğan’da Nervus Radialis’in Fossa Cubiti’deki Dalları Ve Morfometrik Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Branches of the radial nerve in the cubital fossa and its morphometrical assess¬ment in newborn
\/ The right and left upper extremities of the 30 fullterm newborn infants with normal birth weight were studied. The sequence and the number of muscular branches of the radial nerve in the cubital fossa were investigated to help the surgical applications. Additionally, each distance from, the level of the radial nerve division, the origins of the radial nerve muscular branches and the arch of the supinator muscle to Hueter's Line (a line through the tips of the epicondyles of the humerus) were measured.
Consequently, it was observed that the brachialis muscle usually receives only one branch from the radial nerve, branches to the brachioradialis muscle always arise above Hueter's Line, the average division of the radial nerves is below Hueter's Line. The level of the supi-nator muscle arch was found within an area from 0.80 cm to 2.35 cm below Hueter's Line on right and within an area from 1.31 cm to 2.28 cm below Hueter's Line on left. The results were compared with those in the literatüre.



Bu araştırmada, normal doğum tartılı ve miadında 30 yenidoğan kadavrasının sağ ve sol üst ekstremitelerinden yararlanıldı. Cerrahi uygulamalara ışık tutabilmek amacıyla, ner¬vus radialis'in fossa cubiti'deki dallarının sayısı, sıralanışı çalışıldı. Ayrıca,nervus radia¬lis'in dallanma noktası, musküler dallarının orijinleri ve supinator ark'ın, humerusun epikondilleri seviyesi (Hueter's Line)'ne uzaklıklarının değerlendirilmesi yapıldı. Sonuç olarak, nervus radialis'in, m.brachialis'e genellikle bir dal verdiği, m.brachioradialis dalının daima Hueter's Line'in yukarısında, nervus radialis dallanma noktası ortala¬masının, Hueter's Line'in aşağısında olduğu saptandı. Supinator kas arkının, Hueter's Line'in, sağda 0.80-2.35cm, solda 1.31-2.28cm aşağısında yer aldığı bulundu. Bulgularımız, literatür bilgileri ışığında değerlendirildi.
