The Turkish position towards the demands of the Kurdistan region in Iraq for independence in 2017

Abstract

The article aims to clarifying the position of Turkey towards the demands of the Kurdistan region in Iraq for independence in 2017. Although the relations between the two sides (Turkey & KRG) were witnessing a remarkable development and many of political, military, economic and cultural agreements, but those relations were strained at that time by the step taken by the leadership of the on the twenty-fifth of September 2017, which was rejected by Turkey, Ankara took serious steps to prevent the implementation of this project, includes strict economic measures against KRG, Turkey preferred to stand with the unity and sovereignty of Iraq rather than stand with its interests with the Kurdistan region of Iraq. Turkey has not stopped its pressure until the leadership of the Kurdistan region of Iraq announced the cancellation of the results of this referendum, which Turkey has greatly welcomed.

Irak'taki Kürdistan Bölgesi'nin 2017 Yılındaki Bağımsızlık Taleplerine Karşı Türkiye'nin Pozisyonu

Abstract

Makale, 2017 yılında Irak'taki Kürdistan bölgesinin bağımsızlık taleplerine karşı Türkiye'nin konumunu netleştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Ancak bu ilişkiler o dönemde Türkiye tarafından reddedilen 25 Eylül 2017'de liderliğin liderliğinde atılan adımla gerilmiş, Ankara bu projenin uygulanmasını önlemek için ciddi adımlar atmış, katı ekonomik önlemler almıştır. IKBY'ye karşı Türkiye, Irak'ın Kürdistan bölgesi ile çıkarlarının yanında olmaktansa, Irak'ın birlik ve egemenliğinin yanında yer almayı tercih etti. Irak'ın Kürdistan bölgesi liderliği, Türkiye'nin büyük memnuniyetle karşıladığı bu referandumun sonuçlarının iptal edildiğini açıklayana kadar Türkiye baskısını durdurmadı.

الموقف التركي من مطالب اقليم كردستان العراق بالاستقلال عام 2017

Abstract

يهدف المقال إلى توضيح موقف تركيا من مطالب إقليم كردستان العراق بالاستقلال في عام 2017. فبرغم أن العلاقات بين الجانبين (تركيا وحكومة إقليم كردستان) كانت تشهد تطوراً ملحوظاً والعديد من الاتفاقيات في الجوانب السياسية والعسكرية والاقتصادية والثقافية، إلا ان تلك العلاقات توترت في ذلك الوقت بسبب الخطوة التي اتخذتها القيادة الكردية بإجراء الاستفتاء على الإستقلال عن العراق في الخامس والعشرين من أيلول/سبتمبر/ سبتمبر 2017، والتي رفضتها تركيا، واتخذت أنقرة خطوات جادة لمنع تنفيذ هذا المشروع، بما في ذلك إجراءات اقتصادية مشددة ضد حكومة إقليم كردستان. فضلت تركيا الوقوف مع وحدة وسيادة العراق بدلاً من الوقوف مع مصالحها مع إقليم كردستان العراق. ولم توقف تركيا ضغوطها حتى أعلنت قيادة إقليم كردستان العراق إلغاء نتائج هذا الاستفتاء، وقد رحبت تركيا بخطوة الإلغاء تلك بشدة.
