Statement on the Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI)

Our journal recognizes the growing use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools in academic research and writing. While such technologies may assist authors in improving language clarity, grammar, and formatting, they must be used responsibly and transparently.

Authors are fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of all submitted work. The use of GenAI tools must not replace scholarly judgment, critical analysis, or original intellectual contribution. Any content generated or substantially assisted by GenAI tools must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript, typically in the acknowledgements or methods section.

GenAI tools cannot be listed as authors, as authorship requires accountability, responsibility for the work, and the ability to respond to questions regarding the research. Authors must ensure that the use of GenAI does not lead to plagiarism, fabrication of sources, inaccurate citations, or other forms of academic misconduct.

The editorial board and reviewers may use AI-detection or plagiarism-detection tools as part of the editorial evaluation process. If undisclosed or inappropriate use of GenAI is detected, the manuscript may be rejected or further investigation may be conducted in accordance with the journal’s publication ethics policies.

This policy aims to support ethical, transparent, and responsible use of emerging technologies while preserving the integrity of scholarly communication.
