In thisstudy, the market structure of the Turkish banking sector was investigatedbetween 2004-2014. Herfindahl-Hirschman Index This result isimportant in the banking sector in terms of the efficient use of resources andthe demonstration of the efficiency of savings into investments: This resultsupports the findings of Claessens and Laeven (2004), Abbasoğlu et al.(2007), Özcan (2012), Uzgören and Tarhan (2012), in the literatüre. CR4 and Herfindahl-Hirschman thecalculation of the Index study the Turkish banking sector have reached theconclusion a monopolistic competitive market structure.
