Abstract
Our main reason of doing this study is the improving numbers of unemployment people and the vocational students’ role in this improving numbers in recent years. The aim of this study is to show the employing ability of vocational students. And also, the employment problems of these students are emphasized in this study. The rapid development in technology and information and increased qualified labor is widely affects labor market. On the other hand, labor market will look for educated, qualified, talented and young people. Because of this reason, qualified staff should be educated at vocational high schools. Vocational high schools are one of the best instutions to educate qualified staff. In this research, the conditions of vocational high schools are studied. The difference between the employment policies and current employment problems are researched.
Abstract
Son yıllarda işsizliğe dair yaşanan gelişmeler ve bu işsizlik rakamlarında meslek yüksekokullarından mezun olan öğrencilerin önemli bir pay alması bu çalışmayı yapmamızın önemli bir nedeni olmuştur. Bu çalışmanın amacı meslek yüksekokullarından mezun olan öğrencilerin istihdam edilebilirliklerinin ortaya konulmasıdır. Aynı zamanda bu çalışmada bu öğrencilerin istihdam sorunlarının üzerinde durulacaktır. Hızla değişen teknoloji, bilgi ve artan uzmanlaşma işgücü piyasasını büyük oranda etkilemiştir. Bununla birlikte işgücü piyasasında eğitimli, kaliteli, becerikli ve genç işgücüne gerek duyulacaktır. Bu nedenle meslek yüksekokullarında işgücü piyasasına uygun insan kaynağı yetiştirilmelidir. Türkiye’de meslek yüksekokulları işgücü piyasasına uygun insan kaynağı yetiştirilmesi için en önemli eğitim kurumlarından birisidir. Yapılan çalışmada meslek yüksekokullarının durumuna yer verilecektir. Uygulanan istihdam politikalarının sonucunda karşılaşılan istihdam sorunları üzerinde durulacaktır.
