The purpose of this research is to demonstrate supervisorsâ demographic, socio and economic characteristics, their life styles and expenses, and their professional features and also to identify supervisorsâ opinions of social, economic, political, and professional issues. This is a survey. The sample of this study included 651 supervisor. As a means of data collection was used the questionnaire included 39 questions. Supervisors mostly listened to Turkish folk music. They rather preferred reading novels. Supervisors spent their summer holidays on seaside report areas, and they didnât have good knowledge of a foreign language. The majority of the participants were a member of any association or union in education. The majority of the participants also reported that they did not find their salaries sufficient enough but they could work in any other institution with a higher salary. Moreover, they expressed that they did not want their children to become supervisors.
Bu araştırmanın amacı, müfettişlerin demografik ve sosyo-ekonomik özelliklerini, yaşam ve tüketim alışkanlıklarını, akademik niteliklerini ortaya koymak; toplumsal, ekonomik, siyasal ve mesleksel konulardaki görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırma tarama modelindedir. Çalışmanın örneklemini 651 denetmen oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak 39 sorudan oluşan bir anket kullanılmıştır. Denetmenler, çoğunlukla Türk Halk Müziği dinlemektedirler. En çok okudukları kitap türü, romandır. Yıllık izinlerini daha çok deniz kenarında geçirmektedirler. Yabancı dillerinin iyi düzeyde olmadığını belirtmektedirler. Araştırmaya katılanların çoğunluğu eğitim işkolundaki bir dernek ya da sendikaya üyedir. Tamamına yakını ücretleri yeterli bulmadıklarını, daha iyi bir ücret karşılığında başka bir kuruma geçebileceklerini, çocuklarının müfettişlik mesleğini seçmesini istemediğini belirtmektedirler.
