                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu çalışmada 16MnCr5 zincir çeliği çifti birbirine yakma alın kaynağı yöntemiyle kaynatılmıştır. Deney çalışmaları sırasında yığma basıncı 3 bar,  yığma akım zamanı ise 1,6; 1,8 ve 2 saniye olarak seçilmiştir. Deney sonuçlarının tamamında, en yüksek sertlik değerlerinin kaynak bölgelerinde meydana geldiği ancak yığma akım zamanının artmasıyla birlikte sertlik değerlerinde düşüş, çekme dayanımlarında ise önemli bir artış olduğu gözlenmiştir.</p></abstract>

                            <p>In this study, a pair of 16MnCr5 chain steel was welded to each other by using flash butt welding method. During the expremental study the pressure was set to 2 bars and upsetting current times were chosen as 1,6; 1,8 and 2 seconds. Experimental results of all tested materials showed that welded zone exhibited the highest hardness, however hardness in the welded zone of samples decreased and tensile strength increased considerably with increasing the upsetting current time</p></trans-abstract>
