Abstract
Turks’ relations with Slavic peoples has a very long history. The relations resulted from geographical closeness have not only been spread to the cultural political and economic fields but also linguistic one. For that reason there are so many Turkish loan words in Russian. Even there were periods and fields that loans took place. So, while some Turkish words were taken into Russian in a place at a period, in another time there were loans in another place. Turkish words have been actively used in Russian.. деньги (para), товар (mal, meta), барабан (davul), айва (ayva) etc. After the transformation period in Soviet Republics Turks and Russians have again established close relations. Ways of loaning has had as different direction today. In this study it is tried to map the loaning from the early times to the end of the Soviet era and a table has been formed
