Karma gerçeklik sorunları

Abstract

Karma gerçeklik, artırılmış gerçeklik gibi sadece gerçeğin algısının yükseltilmesi durumu ve sanal gerçeklik kavramındaki gibi sadece gerçeğin yeniden benzerinin yaratılması durumu değil, her iki durumun kapsamıdır. Gerçek dünya üzerine bilgi yükleyen artırılmış gerçeklik sistemlerinden ve ekran karşısında sınırlı bir hareket imkânı sunan sanal gerçeklik uygulamalarından farklı olarak karma gerçeklik sistemleri sarmalayıcı sanal ortam içinde fiziki harekete imkân vermekte ve bilgi akışına devam etmektedir. Karma gerçeklik, sanallık sürecinin tamamıdır. Kavram, mobil telefon teknolojisinin sanal gerçeklik sistemleri üzerine uygulanmasıyla yeniden hayat bulmuş ve kullanıcı ile buluşmuştur. Karma gerçeklik kavramının kendisinin anlamlandırılması, tanımlandırılması ve adlandırılmasıyla ilgili sorunlar olduğu gibi teknolojik yapısı, kullanıcı deneyimi, hedef kitlesi ve sistemlerinin yüksek fiyatları ile ilgili sorunlar da bulunmaktadır. Bu tür sorunların aşılması karma gerçeklik sürecinin sekteye uğramaması için önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışma, karma gerçeklik kavramı ile ilgili sorunları araştırmaktadır. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden faydalanılan bu çalışmanın amacı karma gerçeklik sistemlerinin sanallık sürecindeki çıktılarını araştırarak geçmişten günümüze karma gerçeklik sorunlarıyla ilgili bir inceleme yapmaktır. Tarihsel süreç içerisinde birçok karma gerçeklik sistemleri incelenmiş, konuya dair literatür araştırması yapılarak sanallık sürecindeki tüm sorunların karşılaştırılması ile bir değerlendirme ortaya çıkarılmıştır.
