Hadis rivâyet etmek konusunda bazı muhaddislerin ihtiyatlı bir tutum sergilediği dikkatlerden kaçmamaktadır. Böyle bir tavra neden olan birçok unsur bulunmakla beraber hadis rivâyetinden geri bırakan etkenler genelde hadislerin asıllarını korumaya yönelik çabalar ve ravilerin konuyla ilgili hassasiyetleri zemininde değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışmada hadis rivâyetine engel olan unsur-lar tespit edilmeye çalışılmış, ancak sıhhat endişelerinin oluşturduğu hassasiyetler ve bu konu etrafında ifade edilen râvi titizlikleri ile ilgili hususlar dikkate alınmamıştır. Rivâyet etmekten alıkoyan unsurları kendi içinde güçlü ve zayıf olarak iki grupta ele almak mümkündür. Ancak makalede davranış kalıplarına dönüşmeye sebep olan, etkin unsurlar ifade edilmiştir. Hadis rivâyetine engel olan durumlardan bir kısmı aktarım esnasında ortaya çıkabilecek eklemelere, azaltmalara ve yanılmalara karşı bir bilinç oluşturmak üzere ortaya çıkmıştır. Bunun yanında bir kısım çekinceler de rivâyet etmekten veya rivâyetin kendisinden değil, nakletmek için uygun şartların oluşmadığı harici unsurlardan kaynaklanmıştır. Son olarak hadis rivâyetini azaltan diğer bir unsur, râvilerin bu konuda takip ettiği yöntem ve tarzla ilgilidir.
The position of Prophet Muhammad in Islamic society gave rise to the separation of his words and actions from the ordinary and evaluated as divine guidance. The combination of the transmission culture to which the Arab society was accustomed and the sense of curiosity about what the Prophet Muhammad said led to the emergence of a strong tradition of narration. This situation, which allowed all believers to talk about the Messenger of Allah, caused some problems with the accuracy and appropriateness of the narrations. In this field, where individual differences such as memory power, level of comprehension, and sense of responsibility are determinative, problems such as forgetting or adding to the hadith during narration have emerged. To prevent this situation, headings on avoiding narration have been opened in Hadith sources, and related narrations have been listed. However, most of these narrations were used to express the meticulousness of the Companions and tabi‘ūn in narrating and the extent of their sense of responsibility. From this perspective, it was emphasized that the Companions and tabi‘ūn had the intention of conveying the hadith correctly and preventing any negative consequences. While these determinations are accurate, they are incomplete on one side. The reasons underlying the practices of narrating less and being meticulous while narrating are not only efforts to increase the reliability of hadiths. There are different sensitivities to this issue. In this study, the reasons for the sensitivities around the subject of abstinence will be determined, and various approaches other than the concerns for the authenticity of the transmission will be attempted to be seen. There are a multitude of factors that may influence an individual’s decision to refrain from transmitting hadiths. Given the expansive nature of this field, a limitation will be imposed, and the subject will be examined within a narrower framework to facilitate sound evaluations. Accordingly, the news containing the words that signify a reduction in narration and abstinence from it will be identified, and the factors that precipitate this phenomenon will be sought to be discerned. Some of the factors that reduce narration are strong and effective. Some of them are weak, temporary factors. The article presents the elements that effectively influence behavioral patterns.
