1. General Principles and Prerequisites
In order to process the studies submitted to the Oriental Scientific Research Journal, it must meet the following basic conditions:
Originality: The article must not have been published in any medium before and must not have been sent to another journal simultaneously.
Approval: The study must be submitted with the consent of all co-authors, if any.
Ethical Standards: The similarity rate should be below 20% as a result of plagiarism screening (iThenticate or Turnitin). Studies that exceed this rate or are suspected of ethical violations are rejected.
2. Editorial Preliminary Review
Each work that reaches the journal is subjected to preliminary evaluation within a maximum of 30 days by the Editor-in-Chief and related field editors. At this stage:
Compliance of the article with the scope of the journal,
Commitment to writing rules and template,
Academic methodology and its scientific quality are controlled.
3. Referee Evaluation System (Double Blind Refereeing)
Our journal implements the Double-Blind Peer Review system in order to ensure impartiality. Authors and referees cannot access each other's identity information.
Appointment: The article is forwarded to at least two independent referees who are experts in their field.
Agreement: If there is a difference of opinion (one acceptance, one rejection) in the opinions of the arbitrator, the study is sent to a third arbitrator.
Criteria: Referees score the original value of the study, its contribution to the literature, its methodological adequacy, the consistency of the results and the quality of the language.
Duration: The referee evaluation process is expected to be an average of 150 days.
4. Final Evaluation and Publication Preparation
In line with the referee reports, the process ends as follows:
Revision: Authors complete the corrections requested by the referees within the specified time.
Language and Layout: Accepted articles are reviewed by language editors and layout operations are performed in accordance with the journal format.
Final Approval: The Editorial Board makes the final decision on the publication of the article whose all processes have been completed.
Indexing: Published articles are transmitted to national and international indexes (TR Index, etc.) simultaneously.
