                            <p>Variability of customer demand drives businesses to grow their range of product portfolios to be able to adopt againstthe demand fluctuation however it pushes business boundaries to consider more integrated project and logistics controltools in order to be able to deliver and manage essential but crucial business processes as wells as balancing higherproduct complexity. In this thesis, it will be analyzed the critical success factors for business who uses integratedcomputer-aided (CAD-ERP, etc.) programs to control their design, production and after sales business functions. Inthis study, to reduce product complexity, a flexible structure that can respond quickly to customer demand, which wasdeveloped to create a variant of the configuration management system bill of material (BOM) structure and its effectson BOM failures are examined.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Müşteri taleplerinin değişkenlik göstermesi işletmelerin karmaşık bir ürün yelpazesi oluşturmasına neden olmaktadır.Bu durum işletmelerin sipariş, tasarım, üretim süreçlerinde ürün ağacı yönetimini karmaşık bir hale getirmekte ve budurum hataların oluşmasına neden olmaktadır. Bu nedenle işletmeler kullandıkları bilgisayar destekli (CAD-ERP vb)yazılımları müşteri taleplerine hızlı cevap verebilecek bir yapıya uygun bir hale getirmek zorunda kalmaktadır. Buçalışmada ürün kompleksliğini azaltmak, müşteri taleplerine hızlı cevap verebilecek esnek bir yapı oluşturmak içingeliştirilmiş olan varyant konfigürasyon yönetim sisteminin ürün ağacı yapısı ve ürün ağacı hataları üzerindeki etkileriincelenmektedir.</p></abstract>
