In this study, collected butterfly species from Savurdistrict of Mardin in 2016 and 2017 were presented. A total of 35 species weregiven in the Papilionidae (2), Pieridae (11),Satyridae (8), Argynnidae (4),Lycaenidae (5) and Hesperiidae (5) families. Original reference, synonyms, andexamined materials were added for each species. All of the butterflies that arepresented are new to fauna of Savur district. However 6 species: Euchloeausonia (Hübner, [1804]),Pierisbrassicae (Linnaeus, 1758) (Pieridae),Melitaeaphoebe (Goeze, 1779) (Argynnidae), Plebejussephirus (Frivaldszky, 1835) (Lycaenidae), Carcharodus lavatherae (Esper, [1783]) and Eogenesalcides Herrich-Schäffer,[1852] (Hesperiidae) are the first record for Mardin Province.
