Patients in the experimental group were first given an education brochure. The telenurse training lasted 3 months, with patients contacting them by phone (average duration 10 minutes) or via WhatsApp twice a week, depending on their availability. LDL-C levels of the patients in the intervention and control groups were measured before and three months after the training. The initial LDL measurement in the control group was 128.09 and the final LDL value was 136.57. While the initial LDL level of the experimental group was 155.32, the final value was 120.31. The final LDL measurement showed a decrease in LDL levels in the intervention group, while the control group showed an increase. Conclusions: Telenursing education was effective in reducing LDL-C levels in patients in the intervention group.</p>
