GÖÇÜN NEDENLERİ VE SOSYOEKONOMİK ETKİLERİ: TEKİRDAĞ İLİ ODAKLI BİR İNCELEME

Abstract

Bu makalenin temel amacı, Türkiye’de Tekirdağ ili özelinde göçün sosyoekonomik etkilerini araştırmaktır. Çalışmanın temel çerçevesi iki aşamadan oluşmaktadır. İlk aşamada göç, göçün nedenleri ve sonuçları açıklanmaktadır. İkinci aşamada, Tekirdağ ili özelinde göç incelenmektedir. Tekirdağ’a gerçekleşen göç, istihdam olanaklarındaki problemler, çevre kirliliği, konut talebi, nüfus yoğunluğundaki artış ve sanayileşmenin yan tesirleri gibi unsurların artmasına neden olmaktadır. Göç sonucunda pozitif dışsallık olarak sanayileşme ve istihdam olanakları ortaya çıkmaktadır. Negatif dışsallıklar ise; çevre kirliliği, nüfus yoğunluğu ve konut fiyatlarındaki artış gibi unsurları içermektedir. Bu makalede ayrıca, 2008-2018 döneminde Tekirdağ’ın nüfusundaki artışın yaklaşık %72’sinin göç ile meydana geldiği belirlenmektedir. Bu dönemde, Tekirdağ’a diğer illerden toplam net göçün yaklaşık %53.3’ü İstanbul kaynaklı olduğu tespit edilmektedir.
