The human race maintained its presence and managed to live as communities as result achieved in its struggle with nature thanks to accrued knowledge, improved skills and understandings. Education is one of the important factors that play a contributing role in the transfer of knowledge from generation to generation. Being provided via letters, radio and TV in the past, distance education is currently being provided via Internet on synchronous basis by creating classroom environment utilising advanced technologies developed in the current knowledge era. Initially occurred in early December 2019, causing the World Health Organisation to declare emergency health issue on January 30, 2020, thus being announced to be a global epidemic on March 11, 2020, COVID-19 has long prevented people from coming together due to its contagiousness. This circumstance has also affected educational activities and resulted in distance education for elementary school pupils. While the widespread use of distance education has enabled the development of distance education technologies, it has created a unique culture. Distance education, which we believe will maintain its momentum and role in our lives in the post-pandemic period, is important also in terms of postgraduate education. In this study, research made, using literature review method, on the post-pandemic future of postgraduate education that aims to build student’s skills to access to information, evaluate and interpret the information thus accessed and make scientific research and of doctorate aiming to build student’s skills to make research independently, scrutinise scientific natters in detail and commentate and to determine methods enabling to obtain new results within the context of distance education, are compiled and evaluated.
