In this research we aim to determine Selçuk University student’ social, cultural and recreational tendency, theirparticipation level to present activities and recreational demands. Questionnaire studies are to done to determine society’srecreational tendencies the way which goes to one of the most trustworthy result. The result of the questionnaire study on 652students who chosen by chance are to given on commented with table and graphic expressions. According to result of thequestionnaire study, most of the students think inadequate on present recreation areas quality, quantity, economical andorganisational aspect. Firstly students’ recreational demands on urban aspect for urban areas generally sport, art andentertainment and for the campus mental and body education activities where will materialize recreational structures. Theresults of the research can help to arrangements that will done for coming true recreational demands of students of SelçukUniversity and pioneer to urban development plans.
Bu arastirmada, Selçuk Üniversitesi ögrencilerinin sosyal, kültürel ve rekreasyonel egilimleri, mevcut rekreasyoneletkinliklere katilim düzeyleri ve rekreasyonel taleplerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmistir. Bu amaç dogrultusunda topluluklarinrekreasyonel egilimlerinin belirlenmesinde en güvenilir sonuçlara ulastiran yöntemlerden biri olan anketleme çalismasiyapilmistir. Tesadüfi seçilmis 652 ögrenci üzerinde yerinde yapilan anket çalismasinin sonuçlari sayisallastirilarak tablolarhalinde verilmis ve yorumlanmistir. Anket sonuçlarina göre, ögrencilerin çogunlugu mevcut rekreasyon alanlarini nitelik,nicelik, ekonomik olma ve organizasyon açisindan yetersiz bulmaktadir.Ögrencilerin rekreasyon talepleri öncelikle kültürelyönde olmak üzere, kentsel alanlar için spor, sanat ve eglence agirlikli, kampus alani için zihin ve beden egitimine yöneliketkinliklerin gerçeklesecegi rekreasyonel tesisler yönündedir. Arastirmada ortaya çikan sonuçlar, Selçuk Üniversitesiögrencilerinin rekreasyonel taleplerinin gerçeklesmesi için yapilacak düzenlemelere yardimci olabilecek, ayrica söz konusutaleplerin karsilanmasina yönelik fiziksel gelisim planlarina isik tutabilecektir.
