                                                                                                <abstract><p>Seed coating is a very hands-on technology that involves applications of external materials to seeds; this is done with great goals in mind, hence improved handling, protection to an extent, and, to certain small extents, germination and growth establishment. Despite its wide acceptability, the implementation of seed coating procedures has still got many challenges nowadays. This study, therefore, applies bibliometric analyses to deduce the trends and gaps between the seed coating research produced from 1980 up to 2024, particularly under the Web of Science database outlet. This work will integrate quantitative and qualitative methodologies regarding the analysis of publications, citations, affiliations, patents, grants, and data on other relevant indicators. The results showed that in the final years, there was an incredible rise in citations about this area, which, put differently, means continuously improving publishing and citation rates throughout the period. Publication data showed that India, the United States, and China represented important contributors to seed coating-related publications, as witnessed through both high publication outputs by its authors and numerous affiliation establishments. The present study comprehensively outlines the trends of research so that the researcher can identify the knowledge gap and assess developments to shape the future of research in seed coating. The results also provide insights for strategic guidance of future research and product development in the area.</p></abstract>

                            <p>Tohum kaplama, tohumlara harici malzemelerin uygulanmasını içeren çok uygulamalı bir teknolojidir; bu, büyük hedefler düşünülerek yapılır, dolayısıyla iyileştirilmiş kullanım, bir dereceye kadar koruma ve belirli küçük derecelerde çimlenme ve büyüme tesisi. Geniş kabul görmesine rağmen, tohum kaplama prosedürlerinin uygulanması günümüzde hala birçok zorlukla karşı karşıyadır. Bu nedenle, bu çalışma, özellikle Web of Science veritabanı çıkışı altında 1980&#039;den 2024&#039;e kadar üretilen tohum kaplama araştırmaları arasındaki eğilimleri ve boşlukları çıkarmak için bibliyometrik analizler uygular. Bu çalışma, yayınların, atıfların, bağlılıkların, patentlerin, hibelerin ve diğer ilgili göstergelerdeki verilerin analizine ilişkin nicel ve nitel metodolojileri entegre edecektir. Sonuçlar, son yıllarda bu alandaki atıflarda inanılmaz bir artış olduğunu gösterdi; başka bir deyişle, bu, dönem boyunca yayın ve atıf oranlarının sürekli olarak iyileştirilmesi anlamına geliyor. Yayın verileri, yazarlarının yüksek yayın çıktıları ve çok sayıda bağlı kuruluş aracılığıyla görüldüğü üzere, Hindistan, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ve Çin&#039;in tohum kaplama ile ilgili yayınlara önemli katkılarda bulunduğunu gösterdi. Mevcut çalışma, araştırmacının bilgi boşluğunu belirleyebilmesi ve tohum kaplama alanındaki araştırmanın geleceğini şekillendirecek gelişmeleri değerlendirebilmesi için araştırma eğilimlerini kapsamlı bir şekilde özetlemektedir. Sonuçlar ayrıca, alandaki gelecekteki araştırma ve ürün geliştirmenin stratejik rehberliği için içgörüler de sağlamaktadır.</p></trans-abstract>
