Influence on Fattening Performance Characteristics of Japanese Quails (Coturnix Coturnix Japonica) of Dietary Protein Levels

Year 2002, Volume: 16 Issue: 30, 1 - 4, 25.12.2002

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect on fattening performance characteristics of Japanese quails of various dietary protein levels. The birds were fed with the diets containing 3000 kcal ME/kg and different protein levels (18, 21, 24, 27 and 30 %, respectively) for 35 days. The results showed that live weight gain, food consumption and food conversion ratio of the birds fed the diet containing 24 % CP were found to be significantly different than the other experimental groups (P<0.05). There were no significant differences among the groups fed with 18, 21, 27 and 30 % for above mentioned criteria.

Rasyon Protein Seviyesinin Japon Bıldırcınlarının (Coturnix Coturnix Japonica) Besi Performansına Etkisi

Year 2002, Volume: 16 Issue: 30, 1 - 4, 25.12.2002
