The Effects of Protected Cultivation and Pruning on Yield and Quality of The Training System in Productıon of Sunfire of Nectarines

Abstract

Turkey is second largest producer of nectarine with a ratio of % 29 of total production. This study was achieved in Mersin city in an orchard greenhouse in order to determine the effect of Y and V training and pruning systems on yield and quality of Sunfire nectarine variety. As a result of study, fruit weight was determined as the highest in V training system and summer pruning with 121.70 g and as the lowest value in Y training system and control with 64.40 g. Fruit width was the highest in V training system and summer pruning with 5.73 cm and the lowest value was V training system and 3.80 cm in control. Fruit height was determined as the highest in V training system and 6.90 cm in summer pruning while the lowest in V training system and 4.66 cm in control plants. Flesh/stone rate was the highest in Y training system and 1.93 g in summer pruning while the lowest in V training system and 1.80 g in winter pruning. Fruit yield per tree was the highest in V training system and 17.33 kg in summer pruning and the lowest in Y training system and 15.33 kg in control.

Sunfire Nektarin Çeşidinin Örtüaltı Yetiştiriciliğinde Budama ve Terbiye Sistemlerinin Verim ve Kalite Üzerine Etkileri

Abstract

Türkiye nektarin üretiminde, Akdeniz bölgesi % 29 oranla ikinci sırada gelmektedir. Bu araştırma Mersin ilindeki meyve serası içerisinde “Sunfire nektarin” çeşidinde kullanılan "Y ve V" terbiye sistemleri ve budamanın verim ve kalite üzerine etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda meyve ağırlığı, en yüksek V terbiye sistemi ve yaz budamasında 121.70 g olurken, en düşük Y terbiye sistemi ve kontrol grubunda 64.40 g olarak bulunmuştur. Meyve eni en yüksek V terbiye sistemi ve yaz budamasında 5.73 cm, en düşük V terbiye sistemi ve kontrol grubunda 3.80 cm olarak elde edilmiştir. Meyve boyu en yüksek V terbiye sistemi ve yaz budamasında 6.900 cm iken en düşük değer V terbiye sistemi ve kontrol grubunda 4.666 cm olarak tespit edilmiştir. Meyve eti/çekirdek oranı ise en yüksek Y terbiye sistemi ve yaz budamasında 1.933 g olarak elde edilirken, en düşük V terbiye sistemi ve kış budamasında 1.800 g olarak belirlenmiştir. Ağaç başına meyve verimi en fazla V terbiye sistemi ve yaz budamasından 17.333 kg olarak elde edilirken, en az Y terbiye sistemi ve kontrol grubundan 15.333 kg elde edilmiştir.
