In this research, the relationship between level of zinc in blood plasm and some traits of wool quality was investigated in 191 Konya Merino sheep. The average of plasm zinc was found 0.551±0.009 µg/ml. The means of the wool traits were 22.98 ± 0.186 μ for fibre diameter, 71.32 ± 0.69 deg/mm for mondulation, 26.05 ± 0.51 per cent for elasticity, 2.73 ± 0.08 g/den for resistarice and 7.59 ± 0.53 cm for lenght of curl. The correlations between amount of plasm zinc and some wool traits were 0.082, -0.118, 0.104, 0.089 and 0.132, above mentioned respectively. These correlations were not statistically significant.
