<p>The aim of this study is to adapt the “Attitudes Toward Older Workers Scale” (ATOWS), developed by Eyal Gringart, Edward Helmes, and Craig Speelman (2013), into Turkish and to examine its psychometric properties. To ensure linguistic equivalence during the adaptation process, the translation-back translation technique was employed in accordance with academic standards, and the resulting forms were finalized following expert reviews. The research was conducted with the participation of 263 employees from various sectors. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), performed to determine construct validity, yielded a four-factor structure that demonstrated acceptable fit with the original scale. These factors were identified as: (1) Adaptability and Performance, (2) Reliability and Responsibility, (3) Physical and Mental Capacity, and (4) Motivation and Diligence. Due to the variation in factor loadings (ranging from .39 to .84), Omega coefficients were calculated to provide a more precise reliability estimate against the risk of violating the tau-equivalence assumption. According to the analysis results, the Omega coefficients were .91 for Factor 1, .77 for Factor 2, .81 for Factor 3, and .88 for Factor 4. These findings indicate that the Turkish version of the Attitudes Toward Older Workers Scale (ATOWS-TR) is a valid and reliable instrument for measuring the attitudes of employees in Turkiye toward older workers.</p></trans-abstract>
