Kenar Dislokasyonu ile Elastik Etkileşimde olan Pürüzsüz İnce Film Yüzeyinin Kuantum Noktaya Morfolojik Evrimi

Abstract

Heteroepitaksiyel gerginliğe ve yön bağımlı özelliklere sahip ince filmlerde film/altlık arayüzey denge(sizlik) durumlarının kuantum noktaların oluşma ve evrilmesinde hayati öneme sahiptir. Bu çalışmada altlık ile ince film arasında konumlanmış olan dislokasyonların sebep olduğu elastik gerilimlerin ince film yüzey morfolojisi evrimini nasıl etkilediği dolaylı sınır elemanı yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. Dislokasyonların yüzeyde yarattığı gerilimlerin tetiklediği yüzey difüzyonu modellenmiş, dislokasyonların dizilimi ve ara yüzey ile yaptığı açı ve malzeme dokusunun eş yönsüz difüzyonu göz önüne alınarak oluşacak yüzey şekilleri araştırılmıştır. Dislokasyonların altlık ile yaptığı açıya bağlı olarak ince filmin kırılabildiği gibi özellikle birden fazla dislokasyonun olduğu durumlarda kararlı kuantum nokta oluşumları gözlemlenmiştir. Difüzyon eş yönsüzlüğünün nihai morfolojiyi etkilemediği fakat sürecin kinetiği üzerinde etkileri olduğu görülmüştür.
