THE FIRST HOUSE OF THE OPERA: TEATRO DI SAN CASSIANO

Abstract

Stages and the architectural structures in which they are located are the determining elements of the aesthetic experience. Teatro di San Cassiano, the first commercial opera house open to the public, transformed the opera, the life of the artists served in its creation, and the aesthetic perception of the audience.
In the research based on the literature survey; The process that the opera went through until it got its own "house" and the environment that supported the production of opera houses and thus opera were examined, and the results were associated with today's art centers.
As a result, the Teatro di San Cassiano and similar structures are indispensable for understanding the art of the period in which they were built.

OPERANIN İLK EVİ: TEATRO DI SAN CASSIANO

Abstract

Sahneler ve içinde bulundukları mimari yapılar, estetik deneyimin belirleyici unsurlarındandır. Halka açık ilk ticari opera evi olan Teatro di San Cassiano da hem operayı, hem yaratımında görev alan sanatçıların yaşamını hem de izleyicisinin estetik algısını dönüştürmüştür.
Literatür taramasına dayanan araştırmada; operanın kendi “evi”ne kavuşuncaya kadar geçirdiği süreç ve opera evlerini, dolayısıyla operanın üretimini destekleyen ortam incelenmiş, sonuçlar günümüz sanat merkezleriyle ilişkilendirilmiştir.
Sonuç olarak, Teatro di San Cassiano ve benzeri yapılar, inşa edildikleri dönemin sanatının anlaşılması için vazgeçilmezdir.
