Abstract

Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) is a noninvasive technique for evaluating the intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile ducts and the pancreatic duct. In the diagnosis pancreatic and bile ducts disorders, MRCP is a much less invasive investigation and does not require contrast material to be administered into the ductal system when compared to endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
