Doğu Roma (Bizans) seramik tipolojisinde çok önemli bir yere sahip olan Zeuksippus seramikleri(ZW), Anadolu ve dışında, döneminin en çok dağılım gösteren seramik gruplarındandır. İlk üretim yerleri hala tartışılan bu seramiklerin, bazı yerleşimlerde yerel üretimlerinin yapıldığı belirlenmiş ve homojen bir grup oluşturmadıkları anlaşılmıştır. Zeuksippus tipi seramiklerinin dağılım haritalarını oluşturmak ve sürekli güncellemek, hem yeni üretim merkezlerinin hem de özellikle 12.ve 13.yylardaki ticaret rotalarının belirlenmesi açısından çok büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada, mevcut verilere dayalı dağılımların durum değerlendirmesi ile Ege ve Akdeniz havzası boyunca ZWlerin dağılımı sunulmuştur
Zeuxippus Ware (ZW) distributed widely in Anatolia and beyond is one of the most important groups of the Byzantine Pottery. It is still argued that where these wares were produced first. Although there is no evidence for origin of Genuine ZW, some settlements has been shown that local production centres of ZW’s imitations or derivatives and hereby it is understood that this group were not homogeneous. Mapping of ZW type pottery distributions and updating them are essential for determining both new settlements which have ZW deposit and local production possibilities and trade routes. In this study, distributions of ZW are presented throughout Aegean and Mediterranean Basin assessing to determine the state of their distributions based on available data
