In this study, it is aimed to examine thepsychological outcomes of the education of children's rights and to reframe thetarget groups from the perspective of psychology. With this purpose in mind,the changing definition of childhood and the representative projects ofchildren’s’ rights are introduced and the psychological scope of interest willbe determined. Findings indicate that children’s rights education can beeffective in many ways and protective for self and well-being in children. Thesecond objective of this work is identifying of the possible positive societalreflections of children's rights education at professional and societal levels.The study will be concluded with suggestions to determine the need forincluding different groups to children’s rights training, focusing on thecontribution of the psychological perspective to children's rights studies.
Buçalışmada, çocuk hakları eğitiminin psikolojik çıktılarını incelemek ve hak eğitimininyöneleceği hedef grupları psikolojinin bakış açısından yeniden çerçevelemekamaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaç gözetilerek, öncelikle çocukluğun değişen tanımı,çocuk haklarının korunması fikri üzerine çalışanların örnek projeleri elealınmakta ve çocuk hakları eğitiminin psikolojik yararlarını inceleyençalışmalar aktarılmaktadır. Bulgular, hak eğitiminin pek çok açıdan etkisininyanı sıra çocukta benlik ve iyi oluş üzerinde koruyucu olabileceğine işaretetmektedir. Bu çalışmanın ikinci amacı, çocuk hakları eğitiminin profesyonel vetoplumsal düzeylerde uygulanmasının olası toplumsal yansımalarınıbelirlemektir. Çalışma, psikolojik bakış açısının çocuk hakları çalışmalarınakatkılarına odaklanarak, çocuklardan farklı grupların hak eğitimi ihtiyacınınbelirlenmesine yönelik önerilerle sonlandırılacaktır.
