Tekin Akdemir is Professor of Public Finance at the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Political Sciences. He is also the head of the Public Finance Department. 

He received his Ph.D. in the Public Finance Department at the Institute of Social Sciences, Dokuz Eylul University, in 2006. His research focuses on budgeting and financial management, Government cash and debt management, and local government finance. Prof. Akdemir has authored and contributed to numerous books, book chapters, articles, and reports on intergovernmental finance, public financial management, and public debt and cash management. In addition to his academic research and expertise in the management and provision of technical assistance,

Prof. Akdemir has extensive experience in developing and delivering academic courses and professional training programs in the areas of public sector finance, fiscal decentralization, and government budgeting and financial management.

Baris Alpaslan is a Professor of Economics at the Social Sciences University of Ankara. Prof. Alpaslan also holds a number of administrative roles at different levels in the same university. Prof. Alpaslan completed an MSc (with an award of distinction) and then a PhD in Economics at the University of Manchester. Prof. Alpaslan has multiple institutional affiliations with well-known research centres in the UK, Australia, Japan, as well as in Egypt. Prof. Alpaslan is a Vice President of the Committee of Experts on the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development Goals at the Turkish National Commission for UNESCO. Prof. Alpaslan has undertaken consultancy services for several international organisations, such as the World Bank, African Development Bank, and International Centre for Migration Policy Development. Prof. Alpaslan has recently been appointed Chief Advisor to Chairman of the Executive Board at IC Holding. Prof. Alpaslan was a finalist for the Science and Sustainability Award category in the 2023-24 British Council Study UK Alumni Awards. His research interests focus broadly on the macroeconomics of growth, inequality and development. 

Burcu Fazlioglu is a Professor at TOBB University of Economics and Technology, Department of International Entrepreneurship in Ankara, Turkey. In 2019-2020, she was a visiting scholar at the George Washington University, Department of Decision Sciences. Her research centers mainly on economic growth, innovation, productivity, foreign trade, firm dynamics and microeconometrics. She works with big data from Turkish firms to understand why some firms perform better than others and what drives productivity. Previously, she worked as an analyst at one of the leading think tanks of Turkey, the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey (TEPAV). She has been selected to attend to the 4th Annual Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Economic Sciences in 2011. Currently, she serves at the editorial board of Sosyoekonomi.

Gölçek was born in the Karşıyaka district of İzmir. He graduated from the Department of Public Finance at Ankara University’s Faculty of Political Sciences in 2013, and completed his master’s thesis titled “Taxation in the Ottoman Empire in the 19th century: An assassment on Temettuat Defterleri of Nigde Sanjak” at Dokuz Eylül University’s Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Finance, in 2016. In 2022, he earned his PhD with a dissertation titled “The risk of poverty in Türkiye: Determinants of child and elderly poverty” at Pamukkale University’s Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Finance. Since 2016, Gölçek has been working as a Dr. Research Assistant in the Department of Public Finance at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

Egemen İpek is a Full Professor at Tarsus University, Mersin, Turkey. He received his PhD in Economics from Karadeniz Technical University in Trabzon, Turkey. He was a visiting PhD student at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2013-2014 and a Visiting Professor at the Department of Economics and Finance at Brunel University in 2018-2019. In the academic year 2024-25, he was on sabbatical leave at the University of Barcelona and the Barcelona Institute of Economics (IEB) to conduct research on topics related to energy economics and policy, supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK). Dr. İpek's research interests include household economics, consumer demand analysis, health economics, and applied microeconometrics.

Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Fatih Kaleci, Necmettin Erbakan University Press (NEU PRESS) genel direktörüdür. Aynı zamanda Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi Büyük Veri Birimi’nin koordinatörüdür. Matematik Eğitimi ve ekonomi alanlarında doktora derecelerine sahiptir. Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi'nde Matematik eğitimi alanında akademisyen olarak görev yapmaktadır. Üniversitelerde akademik dergi ve kitap yayıncılığını koordine eden Türkiye'de ilk kez "Bilimsel Yayınlar Koordinatörlüğü"nün ve "NEU PRESS" yapısının kurulmasına öncülük etmiştir. Halen üniversite bünyesinde 32 bilimsel derginin koordinasyonundan sorumludur. Sahip olduğu yayıncılık deneyimi akademik yayıncılığın geliştirilmesi sürecinde birçok yazılım ve proje sürecini yönetmektedir. Bu süreçlerin yanı sıra akademik performans, üniversite sıralamaları ve üniversitenin sürdürülebilir politikalar üretmesi noktasında çeşitli faaliyetler ve projeler yürütmektedir. Uzmanlık alanı, matematik eğitimi, büyük veri ve veri analitiği, bilimsel yayıncılık, sürdürülebilirlik, akademik performans ve üniversite sıralamaları. Dr. KALECİ, Mart 2022'de EASE Konseyi'ne (Avrupa Bilim Editörleri Birliği) seçilmiştir. Aynı zaman da Uluslararası Üniversite Kütüphaneleri Birliği (International Association of University Libraries - IATUL) üyesidir. 2024 yılında EBSCO Dünya Danışma Kuruluna seçilmiştir
