Abstract

The
aim of this study is to measure efficiency of Turkish banking regulation and supervision
via banking act, decree law and additional papers after 1980 term. The
hypothesis of this study states that there is an increase of Turkish banking
regulation and supervision efficiency. According to the findings of the study;
there is an increase of Turkish banking legal efficiency in the regulation and
supervision after the events of 1980.

Türk Bankacılık Sisteminde Düzenleme ve Denetlemenin Etkinliğini Ölçmeye Yönelik Bir Analiz

Abstract

Çalışmanın
amacı, Türk ekonomisi için dönüm noktası olarak nitelendirilen 1980 döneminden
sonra Türk bankacılık sektörünün bankacılık düzenleme ve denetleme sisteminin
etkinliğini “Bankacılık Kanunu, Kanun Hükmünde Kararnameler ve Ek Tebliğler”
ile ölçmektir. Çalışmanın varsayımı ise, Türk bankacılık sisteminde yapılan
hukuki altyapılar ile düzenleme-denetleme etkinliğinde artış olduğudur.
Çalışmanın bulgularına göre; 1980 döneminden sonra Türk bankacılık sektörünün
düzenleme ve denetlemedeki yasal zemin etkinliği artmıştır.
