This study aims to adapt Coach-Athlete Relationship Emotional Maltreatment Scale developed by Dietz et al. (2015) to Turkish. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was examined to test the construct validity of the data obtained from the study, in which 282 people participated online; and also Cronbach’s alpha data were examined to test the reliability of this data. In addition, the correlation between Coach-Athlete Relationship Emotional Maltreatment Scale and Perceived Multidimensional Social Support Scale and Social Connectedness Scale was analysed. As a result of the analyses, it was found that the produced ratios were well fitting and acceptable harmony according to the indexes obtained from the CFA first and second-level analyzes. The first and second-level analyses were at the following compliance levels: χ2/df: 3,33-3,92; AGFI: .86-.77; CFI: .96-.95; IFI: .95-.95; NFI: .94-.93; RMSEA: .92-.99; and SRMR: .029-.034, respectively. The Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient was .983 for all scales. Finally, it was determined that Coach-Athlete Relationship Emotional Maltreatment Scale a significant negative correlation with the Social Connectedness Scale (-.597) and Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (-.492). The findings showed that the Turkish adaptation of the scale is a considered tool valid and reliable in measuring and evaluating the maltreatment of coaches towards athletes aged 18-25.
