Call for Paper for the Special Issue

Traditional, Complementary, and Alternative Medicine (TCAM) Practices
Sabuncuoglu Serefeddin Health Sciences Journal plans to publish a special issue focusing on Traditional, Complementary, and Alternative Medicine (TCAM) in December 2026.
Traditional, Complementary, and Alternative Medicine (TCAM) is an important field of health that interprets modern medicine through a holistic perspective and encompasses scientific, evidence-based, and multidisciplinary approaches. In recent years, academic interest and scientific production related to TCAM practices have been steadily increasing.
With this special issue, it is aimed to address the clinical, experimental, and theoretical dimensions of TCAM practices from a scientific perspective and to contribute to the health sciences literature.

Aim of the Special Issue
The aims of this special issue are:
-To share up-to-date scientific evidence on TCAM practices,
-To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of clinical applications,
-To strengthen interdisciplinary approaches within the health sciences,
-To discuss the effects of TCAM practices on clinical outcomes.

Scope and Topics
All scientific studies related to the practices included in the Traditional and Complementary Medicine Regulation will be considered within the scope of this special issue. Priority will be given to studies addressing the following topics:
-Effects of TCAM practices
-Ethical, regulatory, and educational aspects of TCAM practices
-Experimental and clinical research in TCAM
-Systematic reviews and meta-analyses

-Case reports
-Review articles
-Letters to the Editor

Manuscript submission deadline: October 31, 2026
Publication of the special issue: December 2026

Submission and Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to the special issue will be evaluated through a double-blind peer review process in accordance with the publication policies and ethical principles of Sabuncuoglu Serefeddin Health Sciences Journal.
Manuscripts must be prepared in compliance with the journal’s author guidelines and ethical standards.
