<p>Cârullah bin Süleyman Mosque, located in Emre village of Kula district of Manisa, has a separate value in itself in terms of its decoration as well as its architectural features. The mosque, which is equipped with wall paintings with similar examples in Anatolia, was decorated by Şeyhzâde Abdurrahman Efendi at the beginning of the 19th century. The mosque, which is part of a tower along with its hammam residues and fountains, is also a distinct focus of attention as their decoration is extraordinary. The intense decoration of the mosque by Şeyhzâde Abdurrahman Efendi, whose name is mentioned in the ornament inscription, ensures that the building is among the rare examples. In this study, the decorations of the Cârullah Bin Süleyman Mosque, which is also known as the &quot;painted mosque&quot; among the people, were analyzed and it was examined that painting and religious architecture were brought together without contradicting each other. In our study, which also refers to symbolic expressions of drawings, we examine the alignment of the new and the old, taking into account the centuries between the year of construction and the year of the thesis. In the first part of our study, brief information is given about the Cârullah Bin Süleyman Mosque, its patron and its scribe, in the second part the decoration of the mosque is examined, and in the third part, the symbolic expressions of the decoration are emphasized. In the last part, there are evaluations about the decoration of the mosque.</p></trans-abstract>
