Our journal uses the LOCKSS system to enable the creation of permanent archives. The LOCKSS Program, based at Stanford University Libraries, provides award-winning, low-cost, open-source digital preservation tools to ensure libraries and publishers have access to permanent and authoritative digital content. The LOCKSS Program is a library-led digital preservation system based on the principle of “safeguarding multiple copies.” The LOCKSS Program develops and supports libraries using open-source, end-to-end digital preservation software.
