To minimize scientific errors, typographical errors, and stylistic inconsistencies in academic publications, articles to be published in tarihyazımı undergo language editing and final proofreading. Articles that have completed the layout stage are sent to the author(s) for final review prior to publication.
Despite these measures, authors or readers may request corrections for significant errors detected in the article after publication. If such an error is detected, authors or readers can send an email explaining the situation to editortarihyazimi@gmail.com. Correction requests will be evaluated by the editor and processed if deemed appropriate. Corrections will not be published for minor errors such as spelling mistakes, formatting, and text shifts.
According to Dergipark rules, the correction (errata) period is 5 (five) days from the publication date of the article. Corrections cannot be made for requests received after this date. In such a case, authors and readers may request a correction note for the next issue.
Ethical Committee Approval
With the decision of ULAKBİM on February 25th, 2020, there is a condition that "All the disciplines of science (including social sciences), there should be an Ethical Committee Approval for research involving human and animal (clinical and experimental) separately and this approval must be mentioned in the article and it should be documented". The research conducted by quantitative or qualitative approaches which require data collection such as questionnaire, interview, observation, focus group study, the experiment is regarded under the aforementioned content.
