                                                                                                <abstract><p>Aydınlatma kaynakları teknolojisindeki son gelişmeler, sürdürülebilir ve yüksekverimli LED ışığı uygulamaları için yeni ufuklar açmaktadır. LED vegeleneksel ışık kaynakları için yapılan karşılaştırmalı ekonomik analizlerinsonucu, LED’lerin yüksek enerji etkinliği, düşük bakım maliyetleri ve uzunömürleri sayesinde, uzun dönem sebze üretim maliyetlerinin düşmesine olanakvereceğini ortaya koymaktadır. LED’lerin geleneksel ışık kaynaklarına gerçektenalternatif olabileceğini anlamak için farklı türden bitkilerin farklı dalgaboyları karşısında verdiği tepkilerin incelendiği çalışmalar yapılmaktadır.Ancak, farklı dalga boylu ışık veren LED’lerin bitki fizyolojisi üzerineetkilerinin anlaşılması için daha detaylı bilimsel çalışmalara ihtiyaç vardır. Teknolojikyenilikler ışık tayfının ayarlanmasını sağlamakta, LED armatürlerin bitkiyetiştiriciliğinde kullanılmasını kolaylaştırmaktadır. Bu araştırmada, yapay aydınlatmada geleneksel ışık kaynakları yerine LEDışık kaynaklarının kullanılma potansiyeli incelenmiştir. İlave olarak, LEDlambalı bir aydınlatma otomasyon sistemi tanıtılmış, LED ışığının özelliklerine ve bitkilerüzerindeki etkilerine ilişkin araştırma sonuçları verilmiştir.</p></abstract>
