An Application Software Sample for Integration of Curriculum of A Medical School With The National Core Curriculum: Experince of Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine
Abstract
Identifying and developing standards of medical education, has been a prior and constantly overrated theme throughout our medical education history. By the aim of to develop a core standards to national medical education, a series of collaborative meeting were performed in the period of 2001- 2003. Established National Core Medical Education Program was begun to be applied to education programs of the medical schools in 2003. The first study of the Kocaeli university medical faculty to evaluate the coverage and application of the National Core Medical Education Program was performed in 2004–2005 in 2009, a reevaluation and reengineering study was started on this topic. A WEB based system were developed to use in this process and also to manage the medical education program. The aim of this study to introduce the system and to discus the effectiveness of WEB based program assisted National Core Medical Education Program integration process to faculty medical education program.

Abstract
Tıp eğitiminin standardının belirlenmesi ve geliştirilmesi tıp eğitimi tarihimiz boyunca sürekli önceliklenen ve önemsenen bir konu olmuştur. 2002–2003 yılları arasında, Ulusal tıp eğitimi temel standartlarının belirlenmesi amacıyla bir dizi toplantı düzenlenmiştir. Oluşturulan Ulusal Tıp Eğitimi Çekirdek Programı, 2003 yılından itibaren tıp fakültelerinin eğitim programlarında uygulanmaya başlanmıştır. Kocaeli Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinde, Ulusal çekirdek eğitim programının uygulanan program tarafından kapsanması ve uygulanmasına yönelik ilk çalışmalar 2004- 2005 yıllarında gerçekleştirilmiştir. 2009 yılında, bu konuda bir yeniden değerlendirme ve yapılandırma çalışması başlatılmıştır. Bu süreçte kullanılmak ve tıp eğitimi programını yönetmek üzere WEB tabanlı bir yazılım geliştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı geliştirilen yazılımı tanıtmak ve WEB tabanlı program desteği ile yürütülen Ulusal Çekirdek eğitim programının tıp fakültesi eğitim programına entegrasyonu sürecinin etkinliğini tartışmaktır.
