                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu çalışmada, TropicalRainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM, Tropik Yağmur Ölçme Misyonu) 3B42 v7 uydukaynaklı aylık yağmur verileri, Meteoroloji Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından işletilen257 adet gözlem istasyonunda 1998 - 2014 yılları arasında ölçülen yağışverilerinin aylık kümülatif toplamları kullanılarak doğrulanmıştır. İstasyon veuydu kaynaklı yağış verilerinin uzun dönem ortalama değerleri, birbirleriarasındaki korelasyonları, aylık ortalama ve anomali bileşenlerinin standartsapmaları ile uydu verilerinin hata oranlarının standart sapmaları incelenmiştir.Uydu verilerinin hata oranlarının yüksekliğe ve kıyılara olan uzaklığa bağlıdeğişimi çalışmanın odak noktası olmuştur. Bulgular, özellikle uydu kaynaklı yağmurverilerinde anomali bileşeni hata oranlarının düşük kotlu bölgeler ve kıyıkesimleri için yüksek kotlu bölgeler ve iç kesimlere kıyasla çok daha yüksekolduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.</p></abstract>
