Mustafa Yüceer’in doktora tezinden neşrettiği Osmanlı Manzum Hadis Edebiyatı isimli çalışma, kırk hadis telif geleneğinin tarihi süreci ile bu geleneğin oluşmasına katkı sunan “men hafiza” rivayetinin tespit, tahrîc, isnad tenkidi ve muhteva analizi ile başlamış ve Osmanlı Döneminde yazılan arşivlerde henüz yazma nüshaları yer alan veya tenkitli neşri gerçekleştirilen 76 adet manzum kırk, yüz ve bin hadiste müelliflerin kullandığı 4417 rivayetin tahrîcleri yapılmış ayrıca rivayetlerin kaynak değeri ile sıhhat durumlarını gösteren tablo ve grafiklerle elde edilen veriler analiz edilmiştir. Eserin son bölümünde muhteva ve konu tasnifi açısından manzum hadis edebiyatı ele alınarak kırk hadisler, asırlara göre hadis ilmi açısından incelenmiştir. Tarihî süreçte otoriteleşen rivayetler, makbul ve merdud olmaları bakımından kategorize edilerek tahlil edilirken manzum hadis edebiyatında sadece Şiî kaynaklarda, hikmetli sözlerde veya şiir, atasözü ya da deyimlerde tespit edilen metinler de değerlendirilmiştir. Bölümün sonunda sonraki araştırmalara ışık tutması için daha çok irfanî geleneğe ait metinlerde yer alan ve filozoflara ait bazı metinlere de işaret edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler etrafında 1521 rivayet, problemli kabul edilen metinlerden oluşurken Osmanlı manzum hadis edebiyatının kaynakları ile medreselerde okutulan kitapların birbirleriyle ilişkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Tercih edilen rivayetlerin odak noktasını ahlak konulu rivayetlerin oluşturduğu belirtilirken bireylerin dünya ve ahiret mutluluğuna katkı sunan ayrıca sosyal hayata referans olması muhtemel metinlerin de birey-Allah, birey-toplum ilişkisi etrafında müelliflerce değerlendirildiği gözlemlenmiştir.
The study titled Osmanlı Manzum Hadis Edebiyatı (Ottoman Poetic Hadith Literature), published by Mustafa Yüceer based on his doctoral dissertation, begins with an analysis of the historical development of the tradition of compiling forty hadiths. It examines the “man ḥafiẓa” narration, which contributed to this tradition, through identification, extraction (takhreej), chain of transmission (isnad) criticism, and content analysis. The study also includes takhreej of 4417 narrations used by the authors in 76 poetic collections of forty, one hundred, and one thousand hadiths written during the Ottoman period, some of which are preserved as manuscripts in archives or have been published as critical editions. Moreover, the work provides tables and graphs analyzing the source value and authenticity of these narrations. In the final section, the content and thematic classification of poetic hadith literature is addressed, with forty hadiths being examined in terms of their contribution to hadith science across centuries. Narrations that gained authority over time are categorized and analyzed in terms of their acceptance (maqbool) or rejection (mardood). The study also evaluates texts found exclusively in Shi’i sources, wise sayings, poetry, proverbs, or idiomatic expressions within poetic hadith literature. At the end of this section, references to texts found predominantly in the mystical tradition and some attributed to philosophers are highlighted for future research. Among the analyzed data, 1521 narrations are identified as problematic texts. The study reveals a relationship between the sources of Ottoman poetic hadith literature and the books taught in madrasas. It notes that the narrations predominantly focus on ethical themes, aiming to contribute to the worldly and eternal happiness of individuals. Additionally, the texts selected by authors are observed to address the individual-God and individual-society relationships, with potential references to social life.
