Bacillus licheniformis, a saprophytic bacteria which can be found widely in nature can cause diseases such as food poisoning, peritonitis and bacteremia in humans. It is used as a medical industrial source for Bacitracin antibiotics which is used as a medical industrial sources of Bacitracin antibiotics. Protease which is obtained by culturing Bacillus licheniformis is used in biological washing powders, drug, leather and food industries. The Bacillus licheniformis SB 3086 strain is also used to prevent and treat fungal diseases in ornamental plants and turf. While there are researches on the production of Bacillus licheniformis SB3086 in infections such as peritonitis, eye inflammation there is no publication regarding its production in wounds. In this study, Bacillus licheniformis was produced in the wound culture taken from a 69-years-old patient who was admitted to our hospital with 3 rd degree burns. Grampositive bacilli in the gram stain made from breeding colony consisting of a fairly typical blisters were seen in blood agar. In the antibiotic susceptibility tests, it was found to be sensitive to ampicillin, tetracycline, chloramphenicol, clindamycin, gentamicin, rifampicin, quinupristin+dalfopristin and quinolons. It has been shown to be resistant to cotrimoxazole patient which is used Bacitracin+neomycin sulfate and nitrofurazone pomade was not detected in subsequent culture
