Abstract
The aim of this research is to investigate organizational commitment levels of freight forwarder employees in İzmir. In addition, it has been researched whether the demographic features of employees cause a significant difference in organizational commitment levels of employees or not. In order to reach to the aim of the research, as a quantitative research method, the survey data collection method was used. Total 103 questionnaires were applied to employees of freight forwarders in İzmir by face-to-face and online. The data collected from survey were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 software program. T-test and variance analysis Anova were used to test the hypotheses of the research. According to the findings of the research, it has been concluded that freight forwarder employees’ highest organizational commitment dimension is affective commitment. Affective commitment is followed by normative commitment and continuance commitment, respectively
Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, İzmir ilinde faaliyet gösteren forvarder çalışanlarının örgütsel bağlılık düzeylerini araştırmaktır. Ayrıca çalışanların bağlılık düzeylerinin demografik özelliklerine göre farklılık gösterip göstermediği araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın amacına ulaşmak için anket veri toplama yöntemi kullanılarak nicel bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Toplam 103 anket yüz yüze ve online olarak İzmir ilinde faaliyet gösteren forvarder çalışanlarına uygulanmıştır. Anket verilerinin analizi SPSS 20.0 yazılım programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın hipotezlerini test edilmesinde T-testi ve varyans analizi Anova uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre forvarder çalışanlarının gösterdikleri en yüksek örgütsel bağlılık boyutunun duygusal bağlılık olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır. Duygusal bağlılık boyutunu normatif bağlılık ve devam bağlılığı boyutları izlemektedir
