İki Yakın Sarmal Galakside X-ışın Kaynak Popülasyonunun Araştırılması

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, NGC 925 ve NGC 4625 yakın sarmal galaksilerinde XMM-Newton ve Chandra X-ışın uydu gözlemleri ile Aşırı Parlak X-ışın kaynaklarının dışında ilk kez belirlenen X-ışın kaynaklarının (L$_{x} > 10^{38}$ erg s$^{-1}$) tayfsal ve zamansal özellikleri incelenmiştir. Her iki uydunun arşiv verileri kullanılarak yapılan analizlerde belirlenen ayrık X-ışın kaynakları genel olarak, Aşırı parlak X-ışın kaynakları ve X-ışın çiftleri olarak sınıflandırılabilir. Bu kaynakların X-ışın tayflarına en iyi uyum veren modeller belirlenerek olası ışıma mekanizmaları tartışılmıştır.
