Güneş Leke Çevrimi Tahmin Yöntemleri ve 25. Çevrimin Beklenen Özellikleri

Year 2023, Volume: 4 Issue: 3 - Special Issue: Proceedings of the 22nd National Astronomy Congress, 158 - 160, 31.12.2023

Abstract

The Prediction Methods of Sunspot Cycles and The Expected Features of 25th Cycle

Year 2023, Volume: 4 Issue: 3 - Special Issue: Proceedings of the 22nd National Astronomy Congress, 158 - 160, 31.12.2023
https://doi.org/10.55064/tjaa.1203475

Abstract

The spot cycle is one of the features of solar activity that has been studied by many scientists until today. In order to determine the characteristics of the ∼ 11-year solar cycle to date, the areas, positions, tilt angles, etc. of sunspot groups have been measured and and the relations of these parameters with each other were examined and all cycles were compared with each other. There are many methods used in the literature to predict the future sunspot cycle. In this study, some features of the 25th solar cycle were determined by applying Fourier analysis on sunspot data.
