Among the chemicals most commonly used currently in our environment, Those areundoubtedly pesticides andrelated products. If pesticides are at first appearedbeneficial, harmfulside effectshave beengraduallyrevealed. Their toxicity, due tothe molecular structureis not limitedindeed to only speciesthatwe wish to eliminate. They are particularlytoxic tothe various components ofthe environment. Our studyaims toassess the degree ofpollutionofsoil and surface waterinfarming areassituated in the North-Est of Algeria and subject tothe effect ofpesticidesfor several years. To do this, the physico - chemical characteristics of water and soil were determined. The analyzes have focused on pH, BOD5,COD, electrical conductivity, organic matter, nitrites and nitrates. The total microflorasamples ofwater and soilwas also evaluated. Thephysico-chemical parametersstudiedwere analyzed bystandard methodsaccording to thegeneral guidelinesforstorage and manipulation. The fungal microflora was determined using identification keys. The identification of isolated and purified bacteria was instead performed by a scan apiweb software (Api web Biomerieux France). The results showthat there is apollutionofwater and soil. The values of someparametersoften exceedthe prescribed standards andespecially those of nitrite andelectrical conductivity. The isolatedmicrofloraconsists of97% whose most frequentareBacillusandMicrococcusand3% offungi with apredominance ofAspergillus
