Küçük Turizm Destinasyonlarının Gelişim Sürecinin Destinasyon Yaşam Döngüsü Modeli Kapsamında İncelenmesi: Kaş Örneği

Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı destinasyon yaşam döngüsü modeli kapsamında Kaş bölgesinin turizm gelişim sürecini incelemektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan durum deseninden yararlanılmıştır. Bu doğrultuda, Kaş turizm bölgesi paydaşlarından oluşan 43 kişi ile yüz yüze görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde tümevarımsal yaklaşımdan yararlanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, turizm gelişim sürecinin incelenmesinde turizm istatistiklerinden ve paydaşlar ile gerçekleştirilen görüşme, gözlem, alan notları ve araştırmacı günlüğünden yararlanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda, gelen turist sayısı ve geceleme oranına bağlı olarak turizm gelişimini etkileyen içsel ve dışsal unsurların etkileri ortaya konulmuştur. Araştırmada turizm gelişiminde etkili olan unsurların, turizmin geçmişteki ve günümüzdeki mevcut yapısının belirlenmesiyle uygulamaya ve alanyazına yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.
